Core Commitments

BridgePoint Church's mission will not be lived out nor its vision realized unless the people of the church are committed.  In recognition of that reality, the members of the church have all partnered together by making the following three personal commitments.

We, the members of BridgePoint Church, are committed to daily devotion to God which includes thanksgiving, praise, repentance and faith.  We pledge to thank God everyday for all that He has done for us in and through Jesus Christ.  We pledge to praise God everyday for who He is and what He is like.  We pledge to repent of our sins everyday - to feel such regret and remorse about specific known sins that we change our mind, our heart and our behavior.  We pledge to rely so firmly on God’s integrity, ability and character that we obey His commands and stay loyal to Him no matter what life throws at us.

• Weekly Community with Christians

We, the members of BridgePoint Church, are committed to weekly community with Christians which includes fellowship, discipleship, care and accountability.  We pledge to share our life in Christ with each other.  We pledge to sit under the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ together.  We pledge to bear one another's physical, emotional and spiritual burdens.  We pledge to be responsible to each other for the way we live our lives. 

• Faithful Mission in the World

We, the members of BridgePoint Church, are committed to faithful mission in the world which includes prayer, giving, service and invitation.  We pledge to regularly ask God to grow our local church in terms of unity, maturity, number of people and impact on the world.  We pledge to joyfully and systematically tithe to the general budget of our local church so that "God's house" is never in need.  We pledge to consistently use our individual talents, skills and spiritual gifts to edify each other and minister to the world.  We pledge to make the most of every opportunity we have to invite people to Christ and our local church.
